Coffee and conversation
The easiest first meeting: an hour somewhere you can hear each other.
MAKING LGBTQ+ FRIENDS LOCALLY
This isn't a dating app. It's for meeting other LGBTQ+ people near you — the kind of ordinary friendship that gets weirdly hard to find as an adult. A standing coffee, someone to go to a gallery or a gig with, a familiar face when you've just landed in a new city. You can even get to know people online before you arrive. Say a little about yourself, and find others nearby doing the same.

There are three steps, and replies are always free.
A few lines about yourself, what you're into, and who you'd like to meet. Free, and takes a minute.
Once it's up, browse others in the same city looking for the same kind of friendship. It's only visible to other members who've made theirs. There's no automatic matching: you choose who to talk to.
Message someone online whose card you like. No swiping, no games, just a friendly first hello. Starting a conversation costs 8 a year in your currency (€8, £8 or $8), and replies are always free.
Making friends as an adult is harder than most people admit, at both ends of life. According to Meta-Gallup's 2022–23 survey across 142 countries, adults aged 19 to 29 reported more loneliness than people over 65. LGBTQ+ adults feel it more often: in the CDC's 2022 survey of nearly 219,000 adults in 26 US states, 41% of gay men and 45% of lesbians felt socially isolated at least some of the time, against 30% of straight adults.
More swiping doesn't fix that, although apps aren't the enemy either. What tends to help is seeing the same face more than once, a standing coffee or a quiz team. That's what a friend card is for. Making one costs nothing, and only other members who've made theirs can see it.
“Finding real friends can be very hard, even in our community. I hope I've built a real tool for young people arriving in big cities, and for older LGBTQ+ people isolated in the countryside, anywhere in the world.”
